Color Block Pairs

Color Block Pairs is a sliding-and-matching puzzle with no clock. You move colourful blocks around the board, connect matching colours in pairs, and the level is complete once every block has been cleared. The developer is explicit that there are no timers and no rush, so the whole game is about planning each move.

Plenty of complications keep that from becoming easy. Some blocks are frozen, some are linked together, and some movement paths are restricted, so a block cannot always travel straight to its partner. Each new mechanic turns a level into a fresh puzzle, and the satisfying part is finding the order of moves that frees every pair.

Scoring adds a second layer for players who want it. Connecting pairs while a combo is active increases your multiplier, which rewards chaining matches together rather than taking them one at a time. If a board gets too tangled, boosters are available to give you a little help.

1. Find blocks of the same colour on the board.
2. Move blocks along the allowed paths to bring pairs together.
3. Connect each matching pair to clear it.
4. Chain pairs during a combo to raise your multiplier.

Work around frozen and linked blocks first. They limit your options the longest, and planning for them early opens the board for everything else.
