This is a catalogue of free puzzle games that run in a browser tab. There are a little over two hundred of them, sorted into eleven sections by the kind of puzzle rather than by theme.
Where the games come from
We do not develop them. They are made by independent studios and published through a game distribution network, and a few — the Arkadium titles, for instance — come directly from the company that owns them. Each game page names the developer where the feed provides it.
How the catalogue is organised
By what you actually do. Fitting jigsaw pieces, clearing a block grid, remembering pairs, building words, sliding shapes, sorting colours, merging numbers, finding a way out of a maze — these are different activities, and grouping them by mechanic is more useful than grouping them by artwork. A game that genuinely belongs in two sections is listed in both.
What we write
Every page is written from what the game’s own feed says about it, checked against playing it. Where a game is not what its title suggests, the page says so. Where a game is dated, or unusual, or the odd one out in its section, the page says that too.
What we do not do
We do not display play counts we have not measured or star ratings we have not collected. We do not publish pages for games we cannot describe honestly. And we do not carry titles that use somebody else’s intellectual property without their involvement — several games were removed from this catalogue for exactly that reason before it launched.
There is no account on this site, nothing to install, and nothing to pay for. Advertising around the pages is what keeps it running, and it is placed around the game window rather than over it.
