Controls

How to Play

  1. Identify the pieces with the fewest possible placements.
  2. Place those first, at the edges or corners.
  3. Fill the interior with the flexible pieces.
  4. Tile the whole space with no gaps.

Tips & Tricks

Start with the awkward pieces. The flexible ones will still fit later; the difficult ones will not.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many pentomino pieces are there?

Twelve distinct shapes, each built from five squares — that fixed set is what makes the tiling problem well defined.

Is there always a solution?

The boards are built to be tileable, so a stuck arrangement means a placement earlier on was wrong rather than the board being impossible.
